Our Beliefs

Belief statement
Our church is in line with the historical orthodoxy of evangelical churches worldwide. For membership into CrossLife Church, a more comprehensive statement is available.  Briefly, however, here are a few of the basics we hold to.  We believe:

• The Triune God, consisting of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit
• The Bible is completely inerrant in the original manuscripts, thus making our Bible today completely trustworthy.
• Man is sinful, hopelessly and spiritually lost and needs to be saved by God.  Only by turning to Christ as Savior can he escape eternal punishment.
• Salvation from God is only through trust in His Son Jesus Christ by grace through faith.  It is completely apart from any human works on our part. It is also available to anyone on earth who puts their trust in Christ alone as their personal Savior.
• For anyone who trusts Christ as Savior, their salvation is eternally secure in Christ.
• God has given us His Spirit as our Advocate in learning to walk in Christ's strength and not our own.
• God wants all believers to follow Christ's Lordship by joining a local church Body regularly and learning how to grow in their faith by taking up Christ's cross daily.
• Christ is coming back to judge the earth at His appointed time and will set up His Kingdom on this earth.  The church is raptured from the earth before this 7 year tribulation judgement is unleashed.
• It is our responsibility to share the good news of Christ with all men as we await His return. This includes expanding CrossLife church not only in Tucson, but around the USA and world.

Basic Affiliations
To carry out our mission purposes, we have affiliations with the Southern Baptist Convention, the CB of America, the SouthWest CBA Association in Phoenix and the Catalina Baptist Association of Tucson. In addition, we associate with all churches of like faith and practice in both Tucson and Arizona.
