Making your Life Count: Membership/Life Labs

Everyone wants to be a part of something that outlasts them. Here at CrossLife we have “LIFE LABS” on a regular basis. In these “LIFE LABS” Pastor Jones will help you learn many things about knowing Christ. We have designed these “LIFE LABS” around 4 Biblical principles for your life: Connect, Grow, Serve, Share

Life Labs in Connecting: Here you will learn how to know Christ as your personal Savior (Justification). In addition you will learn the basics on how to grow in your walk with Christ (Sanctification). You will learn what it means to carry your own cross and follow Christ in life (Luke 9:23ff).

Life Labs in Growing: Here you will learn more about growing deeper in your faith. In these series of labs we address a variety of subjects that are crucial for your daily growth. We address a wide range of practical issues from topics on the family to Paul’s philosophy on how you really can achieve personal holiness in life.

Life Labs in Serving: Here we address the subject of spiritual gifts. We help you understand what the gifts are, their purpose and explore what yours might be.

Life Labs in Sharing: Here you will learn all the ABC’s about sharing your faith with the unchurched and how to aid them in beginning to grow in their faith.

Membership: To become a member of our Body, we require everyone to go through all of our introductory “LIFE LABS”. While we will have other “LIFE LABS” to attend under Connecting, Growing, Serving and Sharing, we only ask that you attend the introductory classes as a prerequisite to join our Body. You can join with us regularly in our Life Groups without becoming a member. However, for your own personal growth, it is good to eventually take all four classes and join our Body. It is a way of showing you are earnest in growing in your faith and walk with Christ. In addition, although hosting a Life Group doesn’t require membership, if you ever want to lead a Life Group of your own, we ask that you become a member first.

After you take our 4 introductory Life Labs, you can then arrange a time to meet with our staff on joining our church.
